This “Sunny Estate on the Ocean” is on the beach of a residential community called Los Zacatitos and located 8 miles North East of San Jose del Cabo. On the East Cape right besides Punta Gordo, this quiet desert community, “Los Zacatitos” (“Zac” to the locals) by the beach and is made up of a mixture of permanent and occasional residents. The beaches are spectacular and can be walked on forever in either direction. The little bay to the right of the Hacienda provides a safe swimming place most of the year.

THE HACIENDA

Located on miles and miles of white sandy beaches with almost no one on them is a luxury rarely found these days.  This 9200 square feet estate has ocean views from all 7 rooms, however, some see more than others.

Five rooms are complete with private bathrooms and two rooms are connected by a bathroom, creating a special set up for a family (see the rates and booking page for room details). The Hacienda can comfortably accommodate up to fifteen people.

The Great Room has sixteen foot ceilings and is equipped with an entertainment center, complete with satellite TV, videos and music.   The dining room has a twelve seat table, and on the shaded front deck there is another table that seats a further eight people. For those that do not like to be in the ocean, a small pool provides the opportunity to cool off with a spa for those that like to relax.

HOW TO GET THERE

A good portion of the drive to the Hacienda is through the Baja desert, with spectacular views and scenery.  Past the village of La Playita is Puerto Los Cabo, half of the distance to the Haciendas on a paved road and the remainder of about 4 miles is on a dirt road.   A true Baja Adventure.

Hacienda Soleada offers a very quiet true vacation, with a short drive (30 minutes) to all amenities on the corridor and adventure beyond the norm.

NATURE

Stars at night brighten the sky beyond believe and the activities in the ocean, with the local marine life is very entertaining, especially during the whale season starting at the beginning of December all the way through March.  You can watch whales play in the ocean right in front of the Hacienda. During that time the Manta rays will also be active, showing them selves by spiraling in the air and flopping back down in the water.   Of course, the porpoises are always frolicking around.     The back yard is the incomparable Baja desert with all of it's beauty.

TRANSPORTATION

Renting a car is recommended, but we do provide service to and from the airport, if needed (see rates and booking page for details on car rentals and transport service).
